Chocolate Naive’s buying philosophy is very transparent.
We believe that to create premium chocolate we need to work closely with actual producers, not just middle men, so that we can build great chocolates from the very start.
THE PRINCIPLES:
- Personal & direct communication: Naive visits all cocoa suppliers on a annual basis, at minimum.
- Fair & sustainable prices paid to farmers: Chocolate Naive pays at least 40% extra the market price for raw cocoa beans.
- Exceptional cocoa quality: Chocolate Naive sources only the best of the best of beans. Second best is not an option.
- Sustainability: The farmer must be committed to sustainable-quality cocoa, healthy environmental practices and responsible community practices.
